immerGallery Web is a browser-based viewer for stereoscopic side-by-side 3D images. It works in the Nintendo Switch 2 browser (How to use the Switch 2 browser) using the Virtual Boy VR holder (plastic or cardboard), and in other holders such as Google Cardboard. Head tracking is not supported. Audio is not supported on Switch 2.

How to use: Place your screen in the VR holder, center it, optionally adjust rendering under “Setup”. Press “Start”. If the screen darkens, tap it to exit power saving mode.

You can load image packs as direct .zip downloads from a URL containing side-by-side stereo JPG images.

Virtual Boy: We recommend to remove the red-tinted front plate on the plastic model to show the full colors.

For full VR headsets, try the immerGallery app for Meta Quest, Pico XR, SteamVR (soon). It supports 2D, 3D, 180°, 360°, and panoramic photos and videos in VR, plus multiplayer and 2D to 3D conversion.

You can specify an URL to your self-hosted .zip file with 3D SBS images. It will be downloaded locally to your device.
