We are happy to share with you our new visual tool: immerGenerator

Compared to the immerGenerator Web, this visual tool is meant to make setting properties for your VR slideshows as easy as possible. Modify multiple media properties at the same time. Preview media. Change the order of media in the slideshow, add sounds and play them back directly in the tool and much more.

Download immerGenerator 1.1.2 for macOS (125 MB)
macOS users: Version 1.1.2 is still the current version for macOS. If immerGenerator 1.1.2 shows an update notification, you can ignore it for now.

(macOS: Save zip file to Download. Right click saved zip file - Open with Archiver.
Move extracted immerGenerator.app to Applications. Start through right-click and "Open".
Please note that currently a warning regarding malicious software is shown on macOS.)

Windows: fixed an issue where too long path names (>260 chars) for images, audio or project files caused issues.
macOS: drag&drop for adding images works now

macOS audio browsing button functionality fixed
Videos (.mp4, .mkv) can now be added as placeholders for the VR slideshow. Full support in immerGenerator and immerGallery (Local Gallery) will follow in the future. Until then, the video files will NOT show in Local Gallery in immerGallery, only under Video Player.
Smart paste from clipboard button to enter GPS coordinates, copied from Google Maps
Various UI text changes from "images" to "media" or "items" as both images and videos will be possible.

In the description input field, you can use tags like <b>for bold</b> and <i>for italic</i> to format the text when being displayed in immerGallery. We updated the hint at the "?" icon about it.
Quick fix for an unused item in the exported .immerVR files
macOS: New build which is code signed. However, notarization is still missing leading to a warning when launching the app.

Version 1.0.5, 2024-08-27

Improved performance when opening a project and the images are loaded
Jpeg EXIF image rotation hints are now used. Previously, an image could have shown wrongly oriented in immerGenerator - despite showing up correctly oriented in immerGallery.
With the next immerGallery update, the cylindrical range will go from 354° to full 360°. The technical issue behind the previous limitation is solved. The new maximum can be used now already in immerGenerator.

Version 1.0.4, 2024-08-23

Direct export to Meta Quest's /Pictures folder over USB is now possible. Make sure to set adb.exe through the menu item "Tools".
Under Export, we added a button for "Gallery properties". By setting these values, an import to immerGallery over an uploaded .csv file will be enabled that will present galleries in a table format (similiar to immerGallery Download - Included) with description texts and preview thumbnails. We will release a video on this soon.
Added 4 more phobia settings: Claustrophobia, Cynophobia, Entomophobia and Hematophobia
When loading a project where used content has been moved, a dialogue helps to either replace the missing content, to ignore this or to cancel.
Automatic detection and blocking if images are added twice in a project. If this is required, please use a local copy under a different name.
UI improvements to give better interaction feedback, e.g. after pressing "Apply All" the button grays out for a few seconds to show the action worked.
